EPC
Energy Performance Certificate
An Energy Performance Certificate is used to rate the energy efficiency of a home / premises.
The EPC certificate will also make recommendations as to how the property could be made more efficient, in ways such as insulating cavity walls, upgrading to led lighting etc…
UK New Energy have in-house, qualified / certified EPC assessors .
SAP
Standard Assessment Procedure
UK New Energy can produce SAP reports for new dwellings as well as consult on thermal improvements that can be made as a result of the SAP or when consulting regarding an already produced SAP report.
SAP calculations are required as part of Building Regulations and are required for all new build homes in the United Kingdom.
A SAP calculation will allow the following:
To predict the energy related running costs of a dwelling
To demonstrate compliance with Part L of Building Regulations relating to new build homes in the United Kingdom
To produce an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for a new home
